Right around the time of the COVID lockdowns, an obscure Redditor began to post his protest folk style songs to Reddit. His name is Jesse Welles. People on both sides of the aisle lauded him. Over time, his songs have taken a left-wing tilt. This probably because the left has institutional power in the music industry and has far more money to offer a person with catchy tunes.
This person came back up on my radar owing to an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Some of the lyrics include:
We can sneak around town hunting working folks down
I hear they (ICE) get a great benefit plan
If you’re lacking in control and authority, come with me,
and hunt down minorities
Of course, the apprehended aren’t “working folks” because illegal aliens violated immigration law in order to show up to America and displace longstanding Americans. They’re factually criminals. Jesse also decries that ICE agents would make money making America a safer place. People aren’t supposedta make money! He also impugns ICE agents as the kind of people who lack impulse control but a simple glance at ICE agents vs. the people they’re arresting would tell you the perps are most often severely overweight.

The song strays in the direction of incitement and sedition, which is what leftists are lapping up these days. They see Trump is weak, JD Vance is hopelessly corrupt, Pam Bondi is basically an open Luciferian, and the GOP is useless. They smell weakness. And so they are engaged in a broadscale targeting of ICE agents. Dubbing the law enforcement agency a “paramilitary operation” is in the vein of incitement. The left want their people getting arrested so that their lawyer networks can get practice in. They want their faux-martyrs so that it is easier to catapult those people to executive power positions when they manage to cheat another POTUS into the White House.
I didn’t listen to much more of the song, I’m sure it’s just more spiteful mutant ramblings a la Bob Dylan. People think, as they did 50 years ago, that if there are a lot of lyrics, there must a lot being said.
Jesse Welles went where the money was. He will also get the acceptance, fame, and nookie he probably set out to get when he first was posting on Reddit.
Jesse peddles in resentment.
People who are susceptible to resentment tend to fit these descriptions:
- Those were treated with just enough contempt by their parents to feel stepped on but not enough to be totally crushed.
- Young men who were raised in the feminist schools who also picked up self-defeating addictions such as masturbation, marijuana, or video games.
- Women who are raised to be girlbosses who then find themselves alone because they financially outpace most men their age.
- People with liberal parents.
- People raised with a cucked father and a domineering mother.
- People raised on welfare.
- People raised in the Third World outside of a Christian culture.
- People raised to dislike White people as “colonizers” and “oppressors”.
Given the massive proportion of people in the public schools vs. being homeschooled, you can be basically certain that most “youth” culture has been completely captured by the left. This culture is used as a tool of subversion and revolution in order to upend White men from their property rights and meritocratic positions of influence.
These people loathe the American flag, which stands for freedom, a European ethnos, and basically just being a healthy, hetero person.
The left tries to capture the American flag’s magnetic power. Then they shit on it and use it as toilet paper the moment they get a POTUS in power.
It’s important to resist these cheap appeals.
I’ll borrow this term from Edward Dutton, “spiteful mutant”, because I do think it aptly fits Jesse Welles. The little guy looks to be 5’3” at most. Unloved. He’s obviously not a handsome man. And he has this Mellencamp-esque mane but in much the same sense, you figure he’s also doing it to hide his face. Nor does he have the feathery luster of Mellencamp’s famous locks. And Mellencamp is a hopeless Commie who started out being “for da people”.
Jesse Welles is being branded a folk hero by the left because the left is in desperate need of anyone White under the age of 70 they can get from the Heartland who will hum their tune. Talented people used to be more willing tools and the price asked of them was far lower than it is today. In this way, you figure Jesse Wells is all in. His croaky, single note delivery wouldn’t win him any singing prizes in yesteryear but every strand of daily existence is so thoroughly politicized that all people hear is, “Many lyrics, Trump bad.”
I wonder if Jesse has parents or extended family embedded in military intelligence…
I have often characterized rap music as African nihilism, the listless never-ending heat of the savanna kind, that is programmed into suburban White kids’ minds by witch doctor lyrical delivery. This kind of music is evident of “prole drift”, a kind of downward mobility predicated on the strength of being dopamine excitatory. Into the recesses of your mind go all of these retarded, half-baked notions that then spring up and lash out at productive people when you interact with them as you go about your day. Since competent, virtuous people can’t be bothered to deal with that kind of jive, they learn to avoid you. And so you drift down into a never ending nihilism of distant envy and immediate drug use.
Jesse Welles’ music operates in much the same way. It is a limited hangout meant to make you a complete idiot Whitey who will vote for AOC or whoever the machine gacks up next. Bob Dylan’s music was the same kind of drivel. Same goes for U2. Same goes for the latter 2/3rds of Bruce Springsteen’s career. Same goes for grunge music. Same for John Mayer simp mode. So on and so forth. I’m not saying there aren’t musical moments in here but when you zoom out and step back, you can’t unsee the decay of all that is joyous and loving present in this procession of bards. Whites are supposed to be pussies, hedonists, or a mix of both.
